Wilford A. Payne Medical Building

RWA was engaged to provide comprehensive interior architecture services for this new 43,000-square-foot medical center and office building, a cornerstone of the Homewood Community Redevelopment. The facility significantly expands patient services and community support by consolidating patient care and partner agency programs into a single, modern complex. Designed to replace the existing on-site facility, the project is on track to achieve LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

The building will feature a medical suite, dental suite, behavioral health clinic, social services offices, laboratory, pharmacy, sensory room, play area, waiting areas, executive and administrative offices, a conference center, breakrooms, and essential support spaces, creating a fully integrated environment for care, collaboration, and community engagement.
