American Airlines Loading Dock Conceptual Study and Design
RWA was engaged to develop preliminary design options for the renovation and expansion of the existing loading dock at Hangar 3 at Pittsburgh International Airport. The goal of the project is to improve functionality, efficiency, and operational flow for airport logistics. Once a preferred concept is selected, RWA will advance the project through to the completion of construction documents, ensuring a seamless transition from design to implementation.

Allegheny County Airport (AGC) Terminal Roof Replacement
Rios Williams Architects (RWA), in partnership with Stantec, conducted an existing conditions survey and developed preliminary and final plans for the multi-tiered, complex roof at the Allegheny County Airport Terminal. RWA prepared contract documents for bidding and construction and provided construction administration, ensuring precise execution and seamless integration with the terminal’s design.

Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) Wireless Access Point (WAP) Project
Rios Williams Architects (RWA), in partnership with Stantec, was engaged to support the Allegheny County Airport Authority (ACAA) in upgrading wireless connectivity within the airside terminals. The project focused on the strategic placement and integration of wireless access points (WAPs) to enhance network performance, reliability, and coverage for airport operations and passenger services.
